Girl Smarts

I just have to share what my son, Sam, told me yesterday. As I've mentioned before, he will be 16 next month. He was talking about his friend, Dave.

He said, "Dave just doesn't have girl smarts."

I asked what he meant.

He said, "Well, first he thinks he is smarter than a girl and lets her know that. That's pretty stupid."

I agreed that wasn't the best move a boy could make. I asked what else Dave lacked in the "girl knowledge" department.

"He actually thinks he can win an argument with one."

I couldn't help it. I laughed out loud.
