What was that again?

Oh boy. Me again. Chelle and I try to take turns blogging something here. We like to make it enjoyable, entertaining and sometimes kind of serious. But regardless, we hope it's something you enjoy reading. Chelle has quite a list going of possible future topics. I, on the other hand, tend to go day by day and usually when it's my day I am quite blank in the gray matter.

It really is quite interesting to think that life goes on all around me, but do I notice it? Not usually. And when I do notice it, I just see it or hear it, and then in the next moment, something else is entering my conscious, and the previous thing is gone. Maybe I am just too darn lazy to try and keep things in my mind and try and process it all. It really is much nicer to go through life ignorant of everything. Ok, maybe not everything. I do tend to keep a hold of things that really bug me, like people who keep their blinkers on but aren't planning on turning or changing lanes. Mean people who make mean faces, or hand gestures, or are rotten to their kids. And there are some fun things I tend to remember like some riddles, and cute things my nieces say or do like my 2 1/2 year old niece squeezing my cheeks and saying "so cute", or my cat Soccer playing with his mini soccer ball in the tub at 2:00 in the morning, and "talking" to it as he plays.

But for the most part I just sort of function without much notice of what's going on in the world around me. Other than the beautiful sunsets, incredible clouds, interesting rock formations, dead deer on the the side of the road...I do often think of that. Do those fences and "deer crosswalk" things really do much good? I mean, the deer certaily don't read the signs telling them this is where they should cross the road.

Ah, well. Perhaps if I took more time writing in my personal journal I would remember things from day to day. But until then, may the simple things in life continue to flow into my mind and back out again.

You sound a bit like me. I forget about things that happen during the day too. I like reading your blog by the way. Keep posting.

But if Chel is more the norm than she thinks, than that would make *me* the *not* norm ... ::sigh:: Such is my fate in life!

LOL
